Get Rid Of Stubborn Fat In Certain Parts Of Your Body By Freezing Fat Away!

About Coolsculpting®

What is CoolSculpting®?

CoolSculpting® is the brand name for a fat-freezing method that aims to get rid of stubborn fat in certain parts of your body. The method is called cryolipolysis. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved it in 2010.

Scientists came up with the idea for cryolipolysis by studying what happens to fat during frostbite. Fat freezes at a higher temperature than skin. The cryolipolysis device cools your fat to a temperature that destroys it while leaving your skin and other tissues unharmed.

The CoolSculpting® procedure is the only FDA-cleared, non-surgical fat reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to help eliminate stubborn fat resistant to diet and exercise alone. The results are proven, noticeable, and lasting, so you’ll look great from every angle. At Aesthetix Plus, we offer the CoolSculpting® treatment for multiple areas of your body to help freeze away stubborn fat, which is then naturally eliminated from your body. This revolutionary treatment actually reduces the number of fat cells in the treated area(s). While most patients see results after one treatment, additional sessions may further enhance your results.

Get Started With CoolSculpting

After you and your physician select the area(s) to be treated during a personally tailored consultation, the device is positioned on your body and controlled cooling is applied. During your procedure, feel free to read, check email, or even take a nap. The CoolSculpting® fat-freezing procedure is completely non-surgical, so you can typically return to normal activities immediately. The best news is that CoolSculpting® results are often long-term, as treated fat cells are gone for good.

CoolSculpting® is now one of the most trusted, non-invasive, and effective fat removal technologies available today!

Frequently Asked Questions

A doctor can use Cool Sculpting to help you kill fat cells in areas of your body such as:
  • Under the chin and jawline
  • Inner and Outer thighs, above the knee areas
  • Abdomen
  • Back and sides (flanks, back fat)
  • Underneath the buttocks (banana roll)

Cool Sculpting is not a surgery and doesn’t use needles. The device holds the part of your body your doctor wants to target between two paddles. The paddles cool quickly and your doctor leaves them in place for about 35 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes. During that time, the process destroys about 20%-25% of the fat cells in the area that’s targeted.

The final results may not show up for a few months, but you may start to see some changes within a few weeks.Your immune system clears out the dead fat cells slowly over this time.

Cool Sculpting is a science technology called, Cryolipolysis. The subcutaneous fat cells are more vulnerable than tissues surrounding them to cold temperatures. The scientists discovered that long-term, controlled cooling of local tissue could reduce selected fat cells along with subsequent loss of subcutaneous fat and not cause damage to overlying skin. The discovery of this process is called “selective cryolysis” and brought about the development of a patented, FDA approved, technology, which is now known as the non-invasive Coolsculpting treatment.

The Cool Sculpting treatment is delivered through non-invasive applicators that are controlled with an accurately engineered system. The applicator is attached to your targeted area and extract energy from the fat tissue underneath. The sensors embedded inside the applicator monitor allows the procedure to be performed consistently and uniformly.

During the procedure, you may experience a sensation of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, aching, and cramping. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb.

Following the procedure, you may experience temporary side effects. These effects generally only persist for a day or two, in some cases, they have extended to weeks.

Immediately following your procedure, you may experience firmness or redness in the area treated. There may be mild bruising or transient blanching of your skin in the treatment area along with a slight stinging or tingling.

One to two weeks following treatment, you may experience swelling, bruising, or redness in the treated area. There may be tenderness, an aching sensation, itching, numbness, or tingling in the treated area. The sensation of feeling numb in the area treated has been reported to last several weeks after the procedure.

For most people who see the results of their Cool Sculpting treatment, it motivates them to stay closer to their ideal body weight. Some do gain weight; however, it is often gained evenly over the body, not just in the areas that have been treated.

There are no special supplements required after having a Cool Sculpting treatment. This procedure is not an exercise or diet program and requires no changes to your lifestyle habits. Many patients have been motivated by the results and implemented a change to care for themselves more after treatments but is not required.

After the Cool Sculpting procedure, you will schedule a follow-up assessment to review your results and decide if there are any additional treatments needed.
