Platelets are a natural source of growth factors that act as stem cells when introduced into new surrounding tissues. Platelets and growth factors start stimulating new blood vessel growth, new hair follicle formation and new collagen, which is transformed into the hair. When PRP is combined with the ACell framework, it helps by providing nourishment and support for the new and existing hairs.

It is recommended to come to a consultation with a list of current medications and recent blood work results.
Yes, ACell has been introduced and approved for use on the US market since 2008. Its first introduction was in the field of tissue reconstructive surgery.
FDA did not specifically issue a statement regarding ACell use for hair restoration. It simply approved the use of the product for physicians and leaves it up to their professional discretion and expertise to apply its use elsewhere, in an example like hair restoration.
